New Adult Contemporary Romance
First let me say I am being generous with the 2 stars. Trust me on this! I have 18 notes that I made public on my Goodreads about this book. It would have been more if I had highlighted every error, typo, redundancy, awkwardly worded descriptions, borrowed scenes and borrowed characteristics.

The borrowed areas are so obvious, I can literally name the books and characters that they came from. Unfortunately, these characters traits, etc. were not well blended into the personalities of the characters in this book. This makes both main characters feel fractured and hard to understand.

There is way to0 much unnecessary information that bogs down and interrupts the story. Yet, not enough important information to make you care about the main characters.
There are some redeeming qualities to this story. But they are few and far between.

This book bored me so badly that at 42% I had to set it aside. Or dnf it.
It is slow moving and has quite a few other problems.
I did manage to eventually finish it.

DNF at 16%

I was having second thoughts around 1%, again around 5% I tried, i really tried.

What we have here is a man who got possessive before any relationship. A man who stuffs his tongue down the heroine's throat after she says no to seeing him repeatedly while she's working. A gay best friend (assuming this is because it makes him a "safe" outside person for her to interact with) who outs the virginity of his best friend before any relationship is established Oh heavens, a virgin. A best friend who allows the hero to take the heroine to her room while piss drunk.

And then the hero declares he'll be taking her virginity, and she'll only ever be with one man. We're at 16% here.

And then he says she needs birth control while she's drunk and he's escorting her to her hotel room.

And then I'm done. ( )

“I will put you over my knee every time you lie to me, Bianca.”

He’s joking. Isn’t he? No dear Bianca I am fully confident he is not joking.

So first of all I love James and his whole intense, and secretive personality. He seems like he feels so intensely. For only knowing each other for a week he seemed to have some major feels for Bianca.

Now for Bianca, I liked her enough but at the same time some things really bugged me. The fact that she seemed to fly of the handles and get drama and put her walls up at the first sign of trouble. That bugged me women like that annoy me.

Stephen was by far my favorite in this book, he was such a fun outgoing person. I loved his relationship with Bianca. Seemed like they are even more than best friends and family. Like it's a deeper connection than that (not in a romantic way) more like a guardian angel kind of way. I loved to see how he protected Bianca when James came after she left his Penthouse. Along with the fact he never left the hospital after her dad came for her.

So the end of this book irritated me with the cliffhanger, thankfully I don’t have to wait for the next book! Will they fix their issues? Mend their relationship? Fall in love? (which I think they both already have)What will happen to her dad? Will the truth come out about what he did to her mom? Will James issue a statement and be seen publicially with Bianca? Will Melissa get what is coming to her?

So many questions!!!!

I like the author's writing style. It's easy to get into the story though I have slow moments on some parts. The romantic scenes are absolutely hot and well-written. However, I find this book a little cliché. However, I am at a stage in my life where this provides escape for me. ( )

Book description
When reserved flight attendant Bianca gets one look at billionaire hotel owner James Cavendish, she loses all of her hard-won composure. For a girl who can easily juggle a tray of champagne flutes at 35,000 feet in three inch heels, she finds herself shockingly weak-kneed from their first encounter. The normally unruffled Bianca can't seem to look away from his electrifying turquoise gaze. They hold a challenge, and a promise, that she finds impossible to resist, and she is a girl who is used to saying no and meaning it. Bianca is accustomed to dealing with supermodels and movie stars in her job as a first class flight attendant, but James Cavendish puts them all to shame in the looks department. If only it were just his looks that she found so irresistible about the intimidating man, Bianca could have ignored his attentions. But what tempts her like never before is the dominant pull he seems to have over her from the moment they meet, and the promise of pleasure, and pain, that she reads in his eyes.
