Plutarkhos'un Paralel Hayatlar Serisi'nden İskender-Sezar kitabını okudum.

Plutarkhos okumadan önce biyografi türüne karşı soğuk bakıyordum. Yazarın o kadar güzel bir anlatımı var ki türe karşı içim ısındı. Daha sonra başka yazarlardan da biyografi okumaya başladım ama hiç biri Plutarkhos'un yerini tutmadı. Bu kitapla birlikte Plutarkhos'tan 3 kitap okumuş oldum ve fırsat buldukça yazarın geri kalan kitaplarını da okumak istiyorum.

İskender-Sezar kitabının Sezar kısmındaki bilgiler Sezar'ın kendi yazdığı kitapları okuduğum için aşina olduğum bilgilerdi, İskender bölümündeki bilgilerin ise çoğunu bilmiyordum. Kitabı okuduktan sonra çok fazla şey öğrendim ve unutulmaya yüz tutan bazı bilgilerimi de tazelediğim için benim için faydalı bir okuma oldu. ( )
