❤️ Lloyd Fellows & Louisa Scranton ❤️

I really enjoyed this, good romantic tension, likable characters, legitimate hurdles in the way of being together rather than the characters just getting in their own way, a pretty good little mystery for the detective to solve. Just a solid little story. ( )

Listened to audio narrated well by Angela Dawe. Detective Inspector Lloyd Fellows is the bastard son of a Duke. He's gone from hating the Mackenzies to being a part of the family. Louisa is framed for a murder and it's up to Lloyd to uncover the real murderer, while he fights his attraction for her. Louisa is shunned due to her father's swindling and is an easy scapegoat. Great reading about the Mackenzie clan and how they all pull together and support Louisa and how shallow most of the people were in their social circle.
