Butterfly is a foster home reject who works in a strip club until word gets out that she's under age. The owner fires her and demands she pay up an old debt and she is forced to flee for her life. To her dismay, she ends up in the care of her estranged father's ex-prison cellmate, who takes her in to fulfill a promise he made to her father. Despite her obstacles, Butterfly is determined to survive high school and go to college? but can she overcome her past in order to have a future?
