Long but great movie by Spike Lee. The acting by Denzel Washington is excellent.

I think Spike Lee is the best expositor of the black culture in America. Every one of the films of his that I have seen (he is very prolific and I haven't yet seen them all) are very wel thought out. This one, however, is exceptionally well conceived. ( )
