The Fetish Box, Part Two: What Escapes starts off where the first novel ended. It’s so much hotter than the first. Lots of steamy and intense romance, and has a little more depth than Part One.

Someone wants to destroy the Fetish Box and is willing to hurt anyone who stands in the way. Mary just arrived a day ago and now her life has turned upside down. I was riveted from start to finish and just like the first part I want more. I can’t wait till part three. The only thing that I didn’t like about this book is that I have to wait to see what happens next.

Amanda’s feelings for John grow and Max is still the saucy and dangerous hot guy. As more characters join the book, its easy to see that they are close and protective of anything to do with Amanda’s mom.
Again, the erotica is not overly done, although, almost too casual, the plot is getting better and better as the tension and mystery grows.

It’s slightly shorter than the first and a good read, I could not put it down! There is a third part in this series, which I will definitely be reading, I want to know what happens next!!

review for book one and two

I decided to review these together. These are parts one and two of a three part series. For novellas, these weren't all too bad. There is a good story line; however, I think that instead of short novellas, this story would have a better impact as a whole novel. The story moves too quickly, just like any novella. Because of the fast pace of the story, I don't think that the readers get the experience of an actual story. The characters are a little different than in most books, which makes it a little more intriguing.

Mary, the main character, finds herself inheriting a sex shop and house from her mother who left her years ago. She is quickly immersed into a whole world she never would have thought she would be a part of. She finds herself falling into place almost immediately. She craves and desires things she never would have before, yet it all feels natural to her, just like her pull to both John and Max. She finds herself torn between an electric bond with John and an inherent attraction to Max. Both don't seem to be all that good for her, but one is worse for her than the other. Tragedy strikes and secrets come out leaving everyone scared and confused.

I am curious for what the third book will entail, but at the same time, I am not so sure I will feel the story complete with it. This story could go so much further than it has and seems to be headed for. ( )

The Fetish Box, Part 2: What Escapes by Nicole Camden picks up right where Part 1: Open All Night ends. You must read the first part before you even attempt to read the second, because there is no brief overview it just dives right back into the story. This book is basically just divided right into three parts and in my opinion, it should have been kept as all one book not divided into three parts. I think as a whole this would’ve worked more as a whole story. Not much happened in the first part, but that’s the complete opposite with this one. There is so much going on, it’s almost not believable, but it captures the reader’s attention to continue reading until you reach the end.

In this part, Mary finally loses her virginity to John but is playing both John and Max at the same time. Once she loses it, she goes crazy having sex with anything with two legs, even having sexual relations right after one guy with another in the same house with the first still being there! There’s no shortage of sex in this part. Besides that there is a robbery and a lawsuit all which takes place in the 75 pages that is this book. Even though, it’s almost unbelievable when you reach the end of part 2, you will want to instantly read the last part, What Remains.

Overall, I would recommend this book, but only if you have all the parts and you read it as one story. I think you get less out of it reading it part by part and if you leave time between the readings, you will find yourself lost at first because there is no recap of the part before it. ( )
