Nutrition You Can Live With
by Elaine Magee MPH, RD
I enjoyed reviewing this 217 page how-to on living with diabetes. The thing that impressed me right of the bat was how compassionate and loving the energy of the book was. It was written with tack and tenderness. I found that each section was filled with healthy suggestions most of them dietary, but all aimed at helping people deal with this major illness.
I learned so much about how to use a glycemic index, and about foods that may help people with type 2 diabetes. This awesome guide even had recipes that looked yummy and could help keep people on a more even keel. The author has written other exciting and equally helpful books. I would recommend this much needed find to anyone concerned about diabetes. Thanks Elaine, for all the wonderful work you do.
