Each letter is of the alphabet is accompanied by a poem as well as pictures to explain each letter. The book focuses on the US and presents several features a person could find in the county. This is a great book for children learning the alphabet and for children who enjoy learning about facts.

This book tells a little about American history with a poetry setting. Rhyming and pictures are intertwined to make historical facts fun for young children. Everything is covered including presidents and monuments.

I enjoyed this book when I read it to my two year old and seven year old at the same time. They both found the book to be interesting and fun. I thought it was creative how the poetry and illustrations were used to make learning fun.

This book could be used in the classroom for a fund way to learn history. Having the students draw pictures of what they thought historical event might look like. Student could also write a paper on their favorite historical event.

Alphabet book about America. Describes many aspects of American history, monuments, or other defining factors of America in detail on the side. Genre: Poetry because it follows an ABC poetry scheme as well as rhyme throughout the entirety of the book. Setting: America- the setting is very important since the whole book is based on America and what makes it what it is. Media: acryllic
