A very cute book about a worrywart of a girl who is about to start school. It's a little long, but my 4-year-old loved it. Excellent for read alouds to grades K-2. ( )

Poor Wemberly! She worries about everything, even stuff people would not normally worry about (like shrinking in the bathtub). The story is very cute for kids, and illustrates that most of the worries that trouble people never come to pass. ( )

This book is about a little girl named Wemberly who worried about everything. She was then faced with going to school, where she met a friend. This friend helped distract her from all of the worrying and Wemberly ended up having a great first day of school. This book is perfect for kindergarten and first grade students. I loved this book and would teach it in an English classroom since there are many repetitions throughout the book, it also teaches the value of friendship. ( )

This book is perfect for young children who are nervous about school starting. Wemberly is the mouse on the cover she has a bunny she carries around and doesn't want to leave it at home but also wants to be able to go without it. finally, she meets someone in her class with a stuffed animal and they have that in common and are friends.
