College.Parties, sororities and getting drunk.Oh, yeah. And learning. This may be true for most college students, but not for Leah Bennett. College life for her includes studying, working, and excelling in school. When it comes to the social ladder, Leah is at the bottom. Popular girls, hot guys and star athletes are of no importance to her, except for one.Matthew Jacobs.Matt is the starting wide receiver at SUNY Cortland, the most wanted guy on campus and Leah's best friend. Although Leah's feelings toward Matt run deeper than just a friendship, it is something she would never let be heard because the odds of someone like Matthew Jacobs going for someone like Leah Bennett are slim to none. When Matt starts showing an interest in Leah that goes beyond friendship, she is dumbfounded and doesn't believe it is possible - until one weekend that changes everything. Will Matt and Leah's popularity status get in the way of having a chance at a real relationship? Or does status mean nothing when it comes to true love?… (more)

A nice refreshing read. Not overly angst ridden and a very happy ending. I liked meeting Leah through Matt's POV in the first chapter. The book continues with a switch to Leah's POV until the last chapter when we are back to Matt. It was so nice to get inside both of these characters heads.
Leah is the book smart, art major that has no idea how hot she is. Matt is the all-star smoking hot football player with a heart of gold. The text messages/notes that are included in this book are adorable and make it feel so real. There are so many great things about this lighter read I hope you all take a chance on it. It can be read as a stand alone. I had not read the first book and I don't feel like I missed anything in the story.

*Check out my blog for an author interview!

This is one sweet Love story!
Leah might be nerdy but she is quit the bad ass and that makes me love her all the more. Matt well he is on hot jock but turns out he's not your typical jock. His past is one that is sad and becomes bittersweet towards the end. Hot steamy scenes that will leave you sweating! Ending is fabulous. This book is told through Leah's eyes however the author gives us a glimpse into their future through Matt's eyes.
The ending will leave you smiling.

Quotes:

"She could probably fit in my pocket."

"Holy fucking Mother Theresa! He did NOT just say that me bowling a perfect game is a turn on!"

"I need a toothbrush, so I can kiss the shit out of you."
