Collection of short stories by 17 Australian writers around the concept of Tharbour', given either a literal or metaphorical interpretation. The stories tell of various aspects of life, such as cultural memories, rituals and manners, and of sexual, moral and tribal codes. Contributing writers include Frank Moorhouse, Beverley Farmer, Brian Castro, Archie Weller and Anne Whitehead.
