This beautiful book is the first work on the Chinese Book of Change, or I Ching, to be illustrated in full color. Each of the 64 hexagrams is accompanied by an image conceived by the artist. Williams, a painter, has been involved in the human potential movement for many years. These images flow from her meditative and intuitive experience. Follows the traditional structure of the I Ching from the first hexagram to the last. Each hexagram is accompanied by an explanatory caption and each image occupies a full page, so meditators may focus on each in turn. Intro. is by Ralph Metzner, of the California Inst. of Integral Studies, who is well known for his writings on mysticism. No library descriptions found. |
