I won this one on a Library Thing giveaway. I am glad that I won this great book. It was an easy read. The main character, Shay is very complex with lots of negative things happening in her life. To deal with it she has her dream lover who comes to her in her dreams. He shows her things, mainly murder scenes. Shay is a cartoonist who then draws the scenes from her dreams into comics. The catch is that they are too close to reality. Shay has several love interests that get to you at times, the author does a great job of exhibiting the frustration that Shay has with the "guys". no reviews | add a review

After reading Sketches, I could not wait to read Fine Lines. The story is so well written with such depth of emotion, you can't help but feel for them. I love how Bella Roccaforte can write with such depth and intent that you don't need a shovel to dig for understanding. It shows through in how each characters personality is so well defined and vividly clear. From the love-hate-love relationships, the snarky remarks among friends and frenemies, the mysterious psychic friends and spirits not seen. Their attitudes make you see them fully and crave more of them. I can so easily see most of them with books or novellas of their own.
The only issue I had with this book was that I was left furiously looking for the last page. I was so caught off guard by the end, I was sure I was missing pages! Yes, there was an unexpected cliffhanger.
HURRY UP, Book 3!!!! Be prepared for the best book hangover of your life.
