A story horror story that leaves you thinking about it even after you are done. This is a story of a young girl who gets the car of her dreams, but there was something about it she didn't expect. I loved the descriptive writing and the flow of the storyline. The sounds in the last sentence are still in my head :) ( )This review was written for LibraryThing Member Giveaways. This is a short but well written story of a young girl, Jill, who finally manages to find and buy her fixer-upper, a 1967 Buick Skylark convertible, which she dreams longingly about fixing up in the next several months. However, when she begins hearing a tiny voice asking for help, she hurries to help the injured or missing child, only to find things are not exactly what she thought they were. Though rather short, this is a fairly good read. I think any reader would enjoy it. It is the type read you can pick up and finish while waiting for an appointment or on a break. I received this from Library Thing to read and review. This review was written for LibraryThing Member Giveaways. Great story! It’s well written and gave me the suspense feeling and goose bumps. While reading it, I found myself holding my breath several times. I didn't want it to finish so soon. This review was written for LibraryThing Member Giveaways. A really chilling short story with a twist in the tail reminiscent of the Guy de Maupassant stories. A highly original macabre plot which made for a memorable read.Should have been worth a five but does need some polishing, especially in the short story since the quality of the writing has so few pages to shine. This review was written for LibraryThing Member Giveaways. This is a gripping little short story about a sixteen years old girl who has bought her dream car. Soon after receiving this car she is hearing a voice of a little boy who is lulling her and therefore she isn't thinking and acting properly. My conclusion: Do not trust to everybody. no reviews | add a review
