Love is the last thing on the list, but when Baya meets her brother's roommate she begins to have thoughts and feelings that make even her blush .Bryson Edwards has a secret he prefers buried in the past and long forgotten. He keeps himself busy with the important things, loose girls, fast cars, and long nights working at the string of bars his family owns. When his roommate's sister shows up on the scene, she's far too innocent and sweet for him but he can't shake Baya out of his mind and worse, it looks like she's seeping into his heart as well. Baya seems determined to show her brother she's not a little kid and equally determined to use Bryson's body to prove her point. It's been made pretty clear that Baya is off limits to Bryson but their undeniable sparks explode into a whole lot more than just a few 3:AM KISSES.… (more)

This is one of my favorite books...and I've been working my way through the series for the past year. So far there are 17 books!

I have read this book at least four or five times...or that's a lie. I lost track of how many times after the fifth reading. Who knows how many times, I've actually read this book. Many times, I pick a favorite character among the cast in a book or even among the two main characters. This is no different. I almost typed that I love Bryson and Baya equally, but that would be a complete and utter lie. I love love Bryson--totally swoon worthy book boyfriend.

Bryson Edwards loves the ladies...and they love him. He has a competition with his roommate Cole Brighton over who can bed the most. Bryson also works at the Black Bear Saloon, one of three bars his family owns and he runs with his fraternal twin, Holt--where he meet numerous women to help him win against Cole. There is a reason behind his man-whoring ways...one he is not willing to share. Alright, he did share it with Cole during a very drunk night. That took him for a walk around campus to think. During his walk, a gorgeous Freshmen flashes him while attempting to carry her belongings into her dorm room. Every inch of her blushed at the accidental clothing malfunction. He knows there's something special about her. He helps her get situated in her dorm and even helps her find her brother who turns out to be his roommate. The one girl, he wants more than anything is completely off limits.

Baya Brighton has never been so embarrassed and turn on so much in her entire life. The hunky guy she flashed is her older brother's roommate. To make matters worse, her brother is gettin' down and dirty with some bimbo. Bryson tells her what the notches on the wall mean. Everything she knew about her loving devoted brother is shattering around her. Oh and to add to her crap cake, her roommate was having sex when she walked in.

The following weeks are not much better for Baya. The airline lost her luggage which means she had to steal her roommate's clothes just to have something to wear. Her brother banned her from attending any frat parties unless he was there to watch over her. His overprotective crap is getting old. She's also tired of him telling her how sweet and innocent she is when all she wants is to cash in in V card. That's not going to happen with her brother hoovering. After a run in at the frat party, Bryson offers her a job at Black Bear as a waitress. After one too many nights of listening to her roommate sex up the male population at Whitney Briggs, Baya crashes with her brother and Bryson.

Slowly, Baya and Bryson develop a friendship and a bit more. A few 3 AM kisses after the bar closes gives Baya the impression that Bryson wants more than friendship--he keeps his heart tightly protected after what happened to him in high school. Aubree, the president of Alpha Chi is obsessed...with well I can't tell you who that would ruin the story for you. She causes some issues for both Bryson and Baya.

How can Baya trust Bryson when he refuses to tell her about his past?

Can Baya overlook Bryson's womanizing?

How will Baya's overprotective brother react to his best friend and roommate dating his baby sister? ( )

Baya is Cole's little sister-and he's her patriarchal figure. Bryson has his own hesitation about pursuing Baya, but it's not necessarily Cole. The setting is college, and rightly so.

It was juvenile but kind of sweet. It was forgettable enough that 3/4 of the way through the book the exciting suspense part left me feeling like I'd already read this. Sure enough, I'm pretty positive I had. Unless perhaps theres another

attempted homicide after drugged and thrown from a bridge like ex girl friend scenario.

Like in the previous book or time I read it, the minor plot twist was quick, solved, and ultimately unsatisfactory. All that said, I'm not sure if I'll continue to read this author or not. She has some entertaining prose, if forgettable. She also has some questionable word choice, almost as if a depth of understanding in vocabulary is missing but accompanied by a thesaurus.

I love a good little sister and best friend torrid love affair book, but this one was overwrought in that sense. Cole and Bryson are disgusting college seniors-I'd be so ashamed of my brother. Cole is also too possessive, too alpha and I guess I just don't get that. In sum, this little sister of best friend forbidden love book was just not convincing or well done. ( )

This is book one in the series, I have read probably 5 or 6 others so far. I enjoy almost all of them. This one I like because it is almost like an introduction to the characters we will see later and the school. I thought Baya’s innocence as a 19 year old was a little over the top. Come on nobody is that naïve in today’s work. This book wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t say it was good either. I know Addison can write some awesome books but this one was kinda of blahhh in my opinion. Bryson came off as a tool at first. I started to like them then the notches on their doors did me in for him. Didn’t like him. ( )

After finishing this book I understand why the reviews are so mixed for it.

First off, Baya is either a character you are going to like or dislike; though some people will probably tolerate her like I did. At the start, I found her blunt descriptions to be charming (and humourous) but they did grate on my nerves as the book progressed. A girl can only handle reading so many blunt, nearly crude but definitely immature descriptions of female body parts before you get a little annoyed.

What really killed this book for me though was the romance. I wanted it to develop more. For me, it felt like they just met, talked twice and then BAM! "I Love You Forever". Sorry, it just didn't work for me. I have no idea why these two like each other besides their physical attraction towards each other and the fact that their relationship had the element of being "off-limits".

Positives: I liked the cast of characters we get introduced to. Such is the way with series like this. I never seem to like the inaugural couple but I get sucked into the secondary characters and their stories. I also enjoyed the plot twist we get: I really didn't see that coming and it's probably what made this book a 3 instead of a 2.

I agree with the review written by 'I read way too much', Baya is way too needy and desperate for my taste.

3: AM Kisses starts out pretty good. It's Baya's first day at Whitney Briggs University. She runs into Bryson Edwards, her brothers roommate, and instantly they fall for each other.
It would be a nice little romantic story, except for the fact that the only thing we even hear from either of them is how they want to have sex with the other. Baya needs to be with Bryson so badly, that she begs him for a kiss and throws herself at him over and over. Even when Baya sees another girl coming from Bryson's room naked, she wants him at that moment. She counts the MANY tally marks he keeps on the wall tracking his SCORES, and still she wants to be with him. I couldn't see any woman who values herself acting this way. Especially since Baya is a virgin, and has waited this long for someone special to come along.
If you want sex and a few good laughs (a lot of Baya's remarks about Bryson, her brother Cole, and her roommate Jeannie are hilarious), then this is a fun read. The author has a great writing style and the characters are very developed. ( )
