I had to give this book 5 stars. Jazz has been my favorite Boston Boy since the first book. I'm looking forward to Lucas and Cal-Al's story, and I'm assuming Terry will get his story too. I'm wondering if there's a chance of going back and getting Rick and Benji's story too? I love all of these guys, so I'd love to see all of their stories. ( )

After reading all three books in this ongoing series I have to say I liked Black Hurricane the best. In essence, it's a romantic sweet story of love lost and all it takes to to get it back. Jasper was deeply hurt, so forgiveness isn't even a blip on the radar. He's held on to the bitterness for so long it's become a big part of him. When he reunites with Dean, all the memories force him to deal with a situation he's not ready for. I appreciate that forgiveness did not come quickly or easily. Dean had to fight for the relationship so there's a bit of angst coupled with some hot loving too.

The secondary characters rounded out the story nicely. It was a pleasure to see all the characters from the previous books and how life was treating them. Overall, an engaging read I thoroughly enjoyed. It can be read as a standalone although the whole series is worth a read.

Book description
Twenty-three year old Jasper Jones fell in love with Dean McQueen at fourteen, but after a disastrous relationship, Jazz would like nothing better than to see the rock star choke in his own vomit. After a catastrophic reunion, Dean seems bent on destroying Jazz's life. It all started when an impromptu bar performance ended up on YouTube and Jazz became an internet sensation overnight. The name Jazdean keeps popping up in headlines and the paparazzi stalk his every move. To make matters worse, Jazz is about to end up on the streets for the second time in his life. In a desperate attempt to keep his home, Jazz signs a deal with Dean's band, Black Hurricane, to perform at a couple of concerts. It feels like one of Dean's feeble attempts to get Jazz back, but painted into a corner like he is, Jazz has no choice.
