** spoiler alert **

Ellie has loved Hunter for years. He sees her as a kid still. She is moving to Tokyo and decides to go after him. Hunter has baggage. He does not want to hurt Ellie but his past gets in her way.

I liked Ellie. She went after what she wanted. Hunter put obstacles in her way but she broke through each one. When she finally discovers what his past includes she tries to help him by not allowing him to hide from the truth.

While this is a painful story it brought to light the sexual abuse of teen-age boys by older women. It had an impact on Hunter and his sexuality as well as his familial relationships. I'm glad that Ellie had his adult back. ( )
