This is an illustrated children's picture book about the city of Edinburgh, Scotland. First released in 1961, it was re-released in 2006.

A beautiful book, with a good introduction to the landmarks and unique sites of Edinburgh. What's striking is how little Edinburgh has changed in the intervening years. This is my first read in the "This is..." series, but I will be seeking out the others. ( )
