I didn't finish this; it was so boring - a lot about nothing.

Esmeralda, the pig is owned by both Mrs. Harbottle and her ex-husband. Mrs. Harbottle wants to turn Esmeralda into sausages but her ex-husband kidnaps the pig and they try and find it. ( )

This is not necessarily the best read aloud book to choose. Maybe it would be a good book to have in the classroom library for children to look at during reading time and if they choose to read it then, so be it. Its about a pig who is kidnapped by the ex husband of a lady because he wants his half of the pig. Some kids chase after the van and find where they have taken the pig. It is a very mysterious book, somewhat crazy seeming at times. ( )

Great fun, great words, like oooer, and a story of a pig. ( )
