I don't read self-help books. Not my thing. And this one showed up when the topic was current in my life - too current. I was bogged down in the very sort of self-pity that this book addresses, and reading it wasn't comfortable at all. So I put it away.

Loves Me...Not is well written and very humorous. Also smart and, dare I say, helpful. It probably won't tell you anything you don't already know, but it may tell you something you need to hear. ( )

I read several "break-up" books last fall. This one was one of my favorites. I liked the witty voice and the humor mixed with some real advice. I like the anecdotes as well. It made me feel less alone, like I wasn't the only one who had a hard time letting go of a past relationship. I'd recommend this to anyone who's gone through an unwanted break-up and still wonders "what if." ( )

While not currently caught up in an unrequited love affair the ideas presented in this book about getting caught up in what might have been definitely resonated with me. The author opens up her own life and pain to help others to perhaps learn from her mistakes and make better choices. ( )

Not at all what I though this book was going to be, but even for someone who is engaged to be married I definitely had several moments of thinking "I wish I had read this when I was a teenager" It is relatable on very many levels from young girls to married women, and I found myself every giving advice from this to my girlfriends.
