I am a quilter and have, in recent years, taken on commissions to finish quilt tops that were made and long forgotten, left unfinished in a bag in the back of a closet. These treasures are often many decades old and my detective work involves noting the colors, patterns, and hues. This book contains clear, close-up photographs of typical fabrics, sorted by decade and grouped by color. It has been a big help in my work! (
