"YOU walk into a bar. As you sit down to order what hopefully will be one of many drinks, your phone buzzes. Your best friend has stood up your girl's night out. So what to do now? You have gone to all the trouble of getting dressed up, you might as well have some fun while you are out. In this Choose-Your-Own-Erotic-Adventure novel, you make the decisions. Will you do body shots with the rock star? Cozy up with the young bartender? Accept an invitation to a gallery from a mysterious woman? Delve into the extravagant life-style of the hot millionaire? Take a joy-ride with the buff bodyguard? Or has the night been too much, and all you want to do is head home, where a new neighbor awaits you? Will your decision leave you pleasantly satisfied or disappointed and yearning for more? All of these experiences are awaiting you from your perch on the barstool. Now all you must do is choose.."--… (more)

This has GOT to be a record for me at finishing a book. xD Ahaha.

It's one of those 'choose your own destiny' kinda stories, so I guess you can't really expect much, but it was alright for me. The stories were at perfect length; not too long and not too short. Some of the intimate scenes were descriptive (though not too much so), and I swear I hadn't realized it was a semi-erotic novel when I picked this book up. Hahah. I had thought it was your average 'choose your own destiny' book, bar-based.

Nothing much to say about it though. ( )

I was sad that I didn't enjoy this book as I remember the Goosebumps choose your own adventure novels fondly from when I was a kid. Their glittery spines still make me smile when I come across one. This novel however failed in it's most basic task...connecting to me (the reader). The book is written in 2nd person...and I just couldn't handle it. Might be the years of third and first person working against me but sadly I did not finish this one.

I will say this was a wonderful idea and Ms. Paige's writing is good. I will look for her other work in the future (the non choose your own kind). ( )

Meh. I picked this up just to see what it was all about and I have to say I did not love it. I actually didn't love choose your own adventure books when I was a kid so finding this just so-so is not a surprise. I wanted the choices to be different and in different places. ( )

I won this book in exchange for an honest review.

I'm not sure how to review this type of book. This is the type of story where you choose where you want to go. If you choose option A you go to page _ , option B page _ . So if you don't like that type of book, then this isn't for you.

If you're into something a little different in your reading then this is a fun, quirky type of book. A girls walks into a bar and is stood up by her friend; you then choose her adventures. And in this case she has quite a few. Now just because you read one escapade does not mean the book is over (unless you want it to be). You then keep going back and finishing off each adventure. So the protagonist has either many sexual escapades or just 1.

There's no real plot to the story aside from what the title suggests. Because of the nature of the book style, characters are one dimensional. Honestly you read this book for the sex scenes and the author writes each scene very clearly and erotically.

Overall not the type of book you would read for its intellectual capacity. ( )
