While women saints seem to be often ignored, this book gives a wonderful insight into the strength of women in Celtic spiritual history.
I was only familiar with a couple of these women, but through the personal journals of the authors, two nuns, I was introduced to many more.
Each chapter highlights a particular pilgrimage, the Celtic saint of importance in that location, her story, and a guided meditation utilizing the themes of that saint.
A wonderful resource for retreats as well as devotional or educational reading. ( )
