Strong and Sassy

If you're looking for a book that is hard to put down, grips you from the start, continually holds you on the brink of suspense, and is both easy and fast to read--you found it here. Alone: The Girl in the Box, book 1 in a series, kept my interest clear to the end. The main character, Sienna Nealon, is a strong, sassy force to be reckoned with. Despite the rude and defensive exterior that in the real world would make her easy to despise, the author highlights enough of her inner struggles and weaknesses, her simple hopes and empathetic heart, to make her lovable. If you have an aversion to exsessive violence, this book might not be your cup of tea. ( )

I have really come to enjoy these books. They are very action packed and have just enough mystery to keep you coming back for more to figure out what's going to happen. Overall I am very pleased with the series. ( )

The Girl in the Box Series, Books 1-3: Alone, Untouched, and Soulless
The Girl in the Box, Books 1-3
By: Robert J. Crane
Narrated by: Annie Sullivan
These were great fantasy books based around a gal that wasn't allowed to see outside of go outside since she was five. Her mom was very strict and abusive. At age 17, her life changes when two men break in when her mom had gone missing for a week. The outside world is crazy compared to her life. Especially when a monster comes after her.
Book 2 continues but more people are after her and she is still trying to find her mom. She is still dealing with the monster in a different way. She is dealing with her super powers.
Book 3 she finds a relative that has the same power she does. The problem her power causes becomes worse.
Love the characters and the different spin on people with powers.
Great narration. ( )
