Personal reaction: This story is good for children who always want a pet but don't realize how hard it is to find the perfect pet or how hard it is to take care of it. It is important for children to know about the responsibility that comes with having a pet. Extension ideas: One idea for an extension could be for the kids to name all the duties that come with having a pet. Another is to have them draw their pet if they have one. If they do not have a pet, they can draw a pet that they would like to have. no reviews | add a review
