The book might be better suited to someone who is just starting out on their own rather than someone who has been cooking for complicated diets for many years. The information on chickens: breeds, egg specifics, things to consider if planning to own, was interesting even; if like me, your attitude is, "Not in my backyard". I usually just make my eggs scrambled or poached. So its nice to have some different options.
