A girl named Emily Elizabeth has a big red dog named Clifford and they live a great town that was celebrating the town's hundredth birthday party. There was a big parade and special events. Clifford does not see himself as a dog and wants to be apart of all the games. Clifford saved the parade by putting his thinking cap on and making things possible. Good old Clifford saved the day and becomes the grand marshal.
I love the fact that Clifford is a big red character in the storyline which makes the story fun and exciting. Yet, at times he may be too big and may cause things to not go as plan. I believe this book is a great read! This book is good for pre-K to 2nd grade. ( )
