My copy was printed in 1954 and has a black leatherette cover.This Short Breviary has the Psalter which contains the Office for Sunday and weekdays as prayed from January fourteenth until first Vespers of the first Sunday of Lent, and from Monday after the feast of the Most Holy Trinity until first Vespers of the first Sunday of Advent; The Saturday Office of the Blessed Vrigin Mary; the Common of Feasts; Proper of the Season; and the Prayers on the Feasts of Saints.

Also included are the following appendices: How to use this Breviary, Concerning Occurrence, Abbreviations, Conclusions to Prayers, Acknowledgements, Arrangement of the Psalms, Index of Psalms and Canticles, and a General Index. ( )
