This is a coming of age story about a little boy who's life has been full of more downs than ups. It utilizes symbolism to convey a deeper meaning to the reader. Great for upper elementary grade levels! ( )

Very easy to read book for youngsters. Good story with two newcomers to the south Florida town that find each other when they both need a friend. The tiger in the story is interesting and I wish it could have ended differently ( )
