Peppa Pig is going to her first ballet lesson. Peppa comes home to teach her family everything she learned. Her parents end up showing Peppa their own ballet, and Mummy Pig ends up falling on Daddy.

This book was very insightful to teaching the lesson that anyone can dance. It did a really good job of conveying the message of when your child or anyone you know learns something new you need to support them with it all. Also, this had very good illustrations for any age. The pictures were colorful and were very clear to what every page is talking about. I like how on some pages it was more words with a small picture and on some pages the picture took up the whole page and there was not as many words on it. ( )

Genre: Fantasy
Age Appropriateness: Primary
Review: This book talks about Peppa trying out ballet for the first time. The book is fun and lighthearted.
Critique: This books fits the genre fantasy because the animals speak and practice ballet. This cannot happen in real life. The book creates a fantasy world.
Comment on use: I would use this as an introduction to a foreign language and also with students who enjoy Peppa Pig. ( )
