Heather doesn't want to be married but wanting to be less of a burden on her large family, she signs up to be a mail-order bride. Hayden's mother wants grandchildren, so she sends away for a wife for him, but when Heather arrives, he rejects her, so every eligible male for miles around decides they want the jilted bride. This was a very satisfying mail-order bride story. Heather and Hayden are fun to watch as they gradually overcome their objections and fall in love. The hi-jinks in the town around them and getting to see other characters from the series also adds to the reader's enjoyment. ( )
