This book shows the diversity of different houses and how each house is unique. This book is basically about all the types of different houses people own. It is very powerful illustration and a lovely message. ( )

The illustration done for this book is phenomenal! The author and illustrator for the book were able to come together and present drawing/paintings of creative living quarters that would really intrigue a child's attention. It also gives children a chance to think about their own homes and think of all the whimsical ways they may be able to represent their home to others. ( )

Home has many meanings for everyone and looks different for everyone as well. This book discusses all the different types of homes there are and does so in a sweet and comedic way. It opens the discussion of what home is life for everyone and acknowledging and accepting differences and hearing other perspectives. It is a very simple and sweet book that I think is important to share in the classroom. ( )
