A fabulous book that I found many years ago in a vintage book store closeout. First edition published in 1916. I paid about $10. Very good condition. Roosevelt writes about his travels in the western and southern states as well as South America. In one fascinating chapter, he writes about crossing the Andes by horseback. In another, he writes of his travels in the Mississippi area ... all this 100 years ago. ( )
