I recall that I enjoyed this listen, but it has left little in my memory, even though I read it only 2-3 weeks ago. A quick and lively read is about all I recall. It was good how Brent's physical disability was a non-event. His confidence was fantastic. His first person telling was particularly fun and cheeky. Brent was brought to life by narrator Deacon Lee. One sitting read!!! Brent was delightful, and though he may have come off as less mature in the other books, I felt he was really well done-motivations and character were well-developed to make for a delightful and quick read. I don't remember enjoying Chase's prose this much in general in previous books I've read of hers-but I felt like there were many lovely lines and fun references. It's late, and that's all I have to say for now-just a fun read! no reviews | add a review
