In the diary this woman's childlike trust, simplicity, and intimacy with Jesus will stir your heart and soul.

Finished after years of reading. Very inspirational how someone can be so close to Jesus. ( )

Excellent, one of the best devotional works I've read yet. Worth a re-read immediately after finishing. I feel a deep amount of respect for this saint. I was skeptical when starting this work, since others I have read which are highly regarded have been something of a slog, but Sr. Faustina was an excellent writer with a profound inner life and a special connection with Christ. The English translation of the introduction fell flat in a few places, but the translation of her work was fine. Highly recommend the Polish introduction in the back of the Marian Press copies as well for context on her life and on the difficulties in having her works authorized by the Church. ( )

DZIENNICZEK napisany w formie pamiętnika powstał w ostatnich czterech latach życia św. Siostry Faustyny. Ukazuje on obraz zjednoczenia jej duszy z Bogiem oraz głębię życia duchowego. Pan obdarzył siostrę Faustynę wielkimi łaskami: darem kontemplacji, głębokiego poznania tajemnicy miłosierdzia Bożego, wizjami, objawieniami, ukrytymi stygmatami, darem proroctwa i czytania w duszach ludzkich, a także, rzadko spotykanym, darem mistycznych zaślubin. ( )
