Fantastic information and scenarios. Terrible layout. ( )

Good as far as controling a classroom, but saddening in terms of the future of our factory teaching system. Yes, these ideas work, and yes they are needed, but what we and our students and our world really needs is a system in which each adult becomes a teacher, and each person both a teacher and a student. We all need to learn and to teach how to learn on our own, and how to help each and every other person learn on his or her own, so that we can boost one another's capacities for sharing both knowledge and resources, for reaching each person's fullest potential. I'm not sure that any school or teacher that works in the US system (or even in the Finnish system?) can do that. ( )

While there is noting "wrong" with this guide, it is primarily written for students in rigorous and private schools (such as K.I.P.P.) rather than for average educators. Overall, the substance is generally "don't be bad at your job," and overly geared towards elementary education. ( )
