In this sequel to Milo and the Magical Stones, Milo and the other mice set out as explorers and find another island. When they arrive, they encounter mice that speak a strange language unlike their own. The reader chooses whether to read the happy or sad ending. Both endings show the power of communication and how it can change an interaction. This is ideal for upper elementary students. ( )
