Miller and Livy have been residing in New York, hiding from Miller's evil pimp. After finding out her beloved nan has suffered a heart attack they both hop on a plane back to England. They need to find a way to release Miller from his ball and chain before it's too late and he loses the one thing he loves and cares about most in the world.

Like the second book this book wasn't that great. The last couple of chapters and the epilogue were the most exciting thing about the whole book. The plot before that was mainly just sex, sex, sex with very little else going on.

Miller and Livy drove me even more insane in this one. I'm not sure they were adults. Maybe children in adults bodies? Miller was probably the worse. At one point he makes Livy promise to never have her hair cut again because if she does he's going to throw a hissy and shave his all of to spite her. Really? What is he, five? Livy was always saying how she trusted Miller and then she'd doubt him and fly off the handle. I'm definitely in love with Livy's grandmother though. She was a gem, so funny. William was loveable. It's a shame that he wasn't in the book as much as I'd have liked. He took away from the boring sex scenes that littered the book.

Miller had a habit of being elusive and indirect by only answering questions with half answers. After a while it was like pulling teeth. I get that some secrets needed to be kept for the end but it drove me insane.

I thought I could have banged my head into the wall when Miller tells Livy that when she gets her period they can stop using condoms. Really? I was under the impression he didn't want kids. I know the chances of conceiving whilst she's on her period are slim but the risk is still there. What happened to the birth control she was supposed to be taking? It was mentioned once and never to be mentioned again.

Livy finally lost her job. I'm surprised she managed to hold on to it for so long. She spent way more time with Miller, puking up on customers and running out early for her to have kept it as long as she did.

There were more of those lines that were just enough to make you want to scream stop. They continued through all three books. Here's some more: "I love your bones." What the hell does that even mean? I can't believe that it mean "I love you deeply". Another was "you fascinate me". Oh, how charming.

Whatever happened to Cassie? Did she find the closure she needed? She was mentioned for a bit and then just dropped out of thin air to never be heard of again. WHAT. HAPPENED. TO. HER?!

Wow! The ending. So many revelations. I must admit I was expecting most of it. I don't think I really appreciated it though because by this point I was just hoping that it would end, and end quickly. I was close to tears and not in a good sense either. ( )

*Please note that One Night Unveiled is part of a trilogy that must be read in order. In that regard, this review may contain spoilers for the prior two books in the series.*

5 "Saving the Special One" Stars! What a fantastic conclusion! The unveiling of all the puzzle pieces to this incredible erotic suspense trilogy was masterfully written and extremely well played. Wow, there are so many amazing facets to this trilogy, it's hard to narrow them down to just a few for purposes of a review. From the attention to the redeeming underlying psychology of seemingly unredeemable behavior, to the sensual worshiping that made for some of the most passionate, erotic and downright hottest scenes I've ever read, Ms. Malpas nailed perfection in her portrayal of lives rife with imperfection!

Book 3 in the One Night Trilogy picks up where One Night Denied left off. Having encountered the "Immoral One" Livy and Miller head for New York to keep Livy safe. While they get to explore some much needed time outside of their normal world enjoying each other, circumstances eventually lead them back to London, where danger is ever near.

As if dealing with the forces that will not allow Miller to choose to leave behind his profession were not bad enough, Livy suspects that she has also seen a ghost, her mother. Could it be her? If so, why now after so many years?

Meanwhile, William and Miller continue their unlikely alliance, all under the guise of keeping Livy safe. But just what is the truth, and who knows what? Moreover, in the end, will love be enough to keep keep the dark forces at bay that conspire to keep The "Special One" in the game?

Simply fantastic! Ms. Malpas' attention to every detail, renders a deep and complex look into a dark and sinister underground world that she has created within the rich and glamorous echelons of London society. Moreover, her build-up of this epic love tale, particularly among such strong forces that threaten to tear it apart, will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat rooting for love to win in the end!

And that hero! Simply alphalicious, ginormous imperfections and all! Miller's fierce protective nature, which at its most ferocious state can be nearly beast like in its ferocity, will leave you panting wanting for more "M" like heroes!

This series was my first by Jodi Ellen Malpas, but certainly will not be my last. Now I absolutely have to go back and read the This Man series, not to mention keep an eye out for her new releases!
