The book was written by Louie Lawent. I loved the title of the book. The book is a quick read, about a boy, who wants to be independent and grown at 6 years old. He doesn't want his mama worrying about him, as he explores the world. He doesn't realize how much he needs his mama until the end. The book is in simple to read format. The book also rhymes. I also loved the illustrations. I finished the book within a few minutes and loved it. Your kids will love it also. no reviews | add a review

My seven-year-old daughter read this one for review. She didn’t have any issues with the words and understood the story. After reading the second page, she stopped and says “This is going to teach me a lesson, isn’t it?” She enjoyed looking at the illustrated pictures as well.
The story is only 5 pages long and so it is quick and easy for young readers. ( )
