Set up more world building and gave a lot of context, but difficult to get through and was pretty boring in some parts. ( ) 4.75/5 The second part of the Darker Shades series delivered. An absolutely incredible story to take us into the final part of the trilogy. Leaving us on a cliffhanger that will only lead to me starting the next book the same day I finished this one. I’m here for it. Go Lila. Go Kell. Can’t wait for part 3.
"Four months have passed since the shadow stone fell into Kell's possession. Four months since his path crossed with Delilah Bard.
