This book of picture riddles, as told by the cover, is always a good catch. With different mind puzzles to look for, it can get kids excited about reading by having them read the riddles on the bottom and then search for the answers within the elaborate photographs. ( )

rhyming- tells what you can find in the busy pictures of classroom objects. ( )

This beautifully designed "I Spy" book goes beyond finding objects; with activities like exploring Venn diagrams in my favorite photograph, "Sorting and Classifying", and figuring out how the balloon popper works in my children's favorite, "Levers, Ramps, and Pulleys". Like all the "I Spy" books, it is challenging enough to be fun, but not so hard as to be frustrating. In our family these books are loved by adults and children alike.
