In my work, it is generally preferred to use euphemisms. I mean for everything. This book has a Glossary, and a helpful list of euphemisms! -- tiparillo, trouser cough! I have to add a few from days in the wilderness with scouts: barking beetles, lighthouse for the blind, petomane, toot, and of course the great chorus: Beans, beans the musical fruit....
