Subject: Navy SEAL Gray Jackson  Objective: Stay on mission. And out of her bed.  Surgeon Laney Parker is on her honeymoon. Alone. Without her cheating fiancé, she's enjoying her nonrefundable "vacation" at Fantasy Island, an exotic resort filled with lush greenery, white beaches and staff who apparently grant every sexual request. Including an unbearably hot massage therapist whose touch turns Laney to molten lava...  Laney has no idea that Gray Jackson is actually an undercover Navy SEAL who's supposed to keep his hands off. Or that Gray wants to take total control. To give Laney just what she--hell, what they both need. Gray can grant her every erotic wish, just as long as he keeps his cover. And just as long as their sexy little tease doesn't go beyond the week...… (more)

My experience with author Anne Marsh is that she writes entertaining books that are sensual, romantic and adventurous. With Teasing Her Seal, Ms. Marsh stays true to that format. Laney finds herself thrust into the path of a sexy undercover Navy Seal that pushes all the right buttons for her. For Gray, Laney is his greatest temptation. She may become the key to his undoing. Teasing Her Seal supplies everything I expect from an Anne Marsh novel. It does Harlequin Blaze proud. My personal opinion as a reader of both the author and the Harlequin Blaze brand is that there was something lacking. It still proved to be a good read. Received an ARC of Teasing Her Seal By Anne Marsh in exchange for an honest review.

Teasing Her Seal by Anne Marsh is a 2015 Harlequin Blaze publication. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Ladies who pick up Harlequin Blaze novels are looking for a little more sizzle with their romance, and Anne Marsh answers the call with this one. It's hot, steamy, sexy, and erotic, with a little humor and angst mixed for good measure.

“A Lover's Lemonade”, a “Blushing Bride” are just a few of the offerings on a special drink menu at the fantasy island resort that Laney should have been enjoying on her honeymoon, which turned out to be a vacation for one.

Laney, an ER trauma doctor, is going through a very difficult period in her life after breaking up with her fiance, and losing her job. So, she arrives at Fantasy Island alone, but is a little bit clueless about what goes one there. Wink. Wink. Until she meets the resort's Massuer , Gray.

Gray, a SEAL, is at the resort on an undercover mission. The last thing he expected was to find himself very attracted to one of his clients. The ethical issues are in a gray area, but when one of his colleagues, Ashley, pushes him to toward the very attractive doctor, for a little short term fantasy sharing, he puts aside any reservations he may have had.

“It's sex...not rocket science. If you're interested, you tell the guy. Or, better yet, you show him. Most of them need the dots connected for them and that's where the drinks menu comes in. You point him toward your fantasy du jour and skip the awkward stage where he's trying to figure out what you like, and you're tying to figure out to politely tell him it takes a little more for you than a little breast groping and rub-a dub-dub.”

A little fun in the sun at fantasy island is just what Laney needs, but once her time at the resort is up she and Gray will go their separate ways because fantasies are just that… fantasies , right???

The SEAL storyline and the undercover mission thing was a wee bit outlandish, but in my opinion the story was supposed to fun, not taken too seriously, nor weighted down with heavy drama or high emotional intensity. This is a light, escapist type read, for adults only, and taken in the right context, the book is very entertaining and was fun read. This one falls somewhere in between spicy and erotic and is all about acting out one's fantasies, but of course, that could be a dangerous game, because like Laney and Gray soon discovered, those pesky feelings could complicate things, giving them ideas about playing out those fantasies for a lifetime.
