A reclusive eccentric has died and left his fortune in his will to anybody who can solve a series of strange clues. This, of course, leads to a wild treasure hunt, but Jupiter Jones and the Three Investigators look to be in front of the pack. The ever-annoying pest Skinny Norris figure largely in this story, which involves a bit more athletic derring-do than many of the adventures. ( )

A most enjoyable mystery that takes the Investigators on a great adventure - as much for them as for us. ( )

Another good mystery with lots of references to Australia. ( )

My favorite book in a truly remarkable series! I loved the rhyming slang (which I STILL have trouble interpreting when I rarely run across it) and trying to figure out the clues before the Investigators did.
These mysteries were much more creative than most of the others I've run across before or after (note: they were not always REALISTIC!) ( )
