Loading... My Nerdy Valentineby Vicki Lewis Thompson
![]() None No current Talk conversations about this book. ![]() ![]() Fun read. A stockbroker with a flapped winter hat runs into the receptionist of a sex therapist when she is dropping a bagful of sex toys at his feet. They have to keep their relationship a secret. He wants more but she does not want a repeat of her past where she gives up everything for the guy. I loved these characters. The doctor is one of a kind. Amanda and Will are great. They are a perfect fit for one another. Not much throws either off. I'm glad I got my happy ending. Many years ago I read a few others in the Nerd series...I'm not sure exactly when this wound up on my shelf but it was a fun time to re-visit the land of cutesy contemporary romances of handsome (and nerdy, of course) heros. Here we have Amanda who wants to be a serious psychologist who somehow wound up with an internship with an absolutely eccentric sex therapist who may enjoy her job a little too much and Will who is a ear sensative stockbroker with a leaning toward hats with ear flaps. When Will and Amanda first meet she makes it clear that she has no time in her life for a relationship, but it is only after she starts to receive escelatingly troublesome secret valentines that she decides she may, in fact, need a bodyguard and Will is only too happy to fill the position! The story takes off from there and I won't tell you how it ends. I thought the author did a pretty good job in filling out the character personalities, from the main and secondary characters to the increasingly delusional bad guy. There weren't alot of surprises in the storyline but they weren't really necessary. The story moved along as it should and it didn't get boring. A very nice way to spend a bit of time with some casual characters. A funny and very sexy love story. Amanda wants to be a psychologist and is determined not to let anything stand in her way - especially not a relationship. However, stockbroker William, intrigued and very attracted to Amanda, can't help trying to get close to her, despite the fact that she has no time for socializing in between school, her internship with a nutty sex therapist and her nighttime bar-tending. The stalker plot is silly, but I accepted it in order to watch Amanda and William forced together to ensure her safety! Recommended for romance readers looking for humorous stories. no reviews | add a review

Aspiring psychologist Amanda Rykowsky's schedule is certifiable. Between study, bartending, and an internship with a sex therapist whose techniques would make a playboy bunny blush, there's zero time for romance. Still, Amanda is flattered to receive an anonymous Valentine, until the messages take a sinister turn. No library descriptions found.
