First published in 1875 there are many odd and interesting entries in the secret societies. The Frank Judges, Freemasonry and various napoleanic orders are particularly interesting. The reprint combines the two works. While it sets the stage for further research the biases of the author renders much of what is in the work to be less informative then it could be. ( )
