"Twisters!" is a book that goes into detail about what a tornado is and how it is formed. It is told in a story-like way that provides a narrative but also facts about tornadoes. This book is very informative and entertaining to read because it is not just boring information. There is a story about a farmer who sees a tornado and it explains what the farmer did to escape the tornado to keep himself safe which is very useful information. no reviews | add a review

Summary: The story starts with a story about a farmer named Rob. It talks about his experience with a twister and how it ruined his farm and house. After the story, the book goes on to give information on twisters and how you can try and avoid them. There are pictures of what the sky would look like if there was a twister or big storm.
Argument: I really liked reading this book. It was a story but at the same time it was an informational text. It will really involve the reader because you hear the story about Rob and how sad it is that his life was turned upside down from this twister.
I think the reason for this story was to teach children about twisters but also tell a story. ( )
