Six months after her estranged father's disappearance Cobie MacBride travels to Kessler Island, Alaska, to explore a cave that he wrote about in some of his last journal entries. But near the mouth of the cave she is attacked, escapes and is pursued to a cliff's edge. She jumps. She is pulled from the icy water by an old friend, Adam Warren. These two have issues around the death of Cobie's brother 5 years prior. When her house is ransacked and her life is threatened again they need to find out why and how her father was involved. A decent mystery with inspirational undertones.
