Until this movie, I had no idea how hot Cate Blanchett was and I'ld never seen Rooney Mara in anything. But they are both gratifyingly hot. The movie is extremely well shot and very moody. In the end it's a slight movie in which almost nothing of consequence really happens, but it is very moving. ( )

A girl falls in love with a married woman.

I had very high expectations for this movie, and ended up disappointed. The acting and the visuals are great. But despite being exceptionally well-written, it never quite managed to make me care enough to have any emotional investment.
