I love the authors' look at these dietary questions and their tone in writing about them. It felt like a conversation with friends and they covered some interesting themes: insides of bagels, blotting pizza, the myth of veggie chips and pasta, among others.
I thought this book started stronger than it finished. By the end the authors seemed to have run out of topics to make the 100 (how many vitamin line items do we need) and resorted to some well busted myths. Intermittent fasting isn't going to destroy your body and there's good science behind how it works.
Overall, a good, light read. ( )

Haiku summary

No descriptions found.

"As a registered dietitian and a health industry expert, Ilyse Schapiro and Hallie Rich are "Dear Abby" meets Sex and the City meets Dr. Oz. They're realistic in their approach with-out getting too technical. They know people will cheat on their diets, dine out, consume alcohol, and have (hopefully plenty of) sex. They also know people have questions about it all. (Who doesn't?) While many people may feel comfortable asking their best friend, they really want expert advice. That's where Should I Scoop Out My Bagel? will help," -- Back cover.… (more)
